School Meals

The school kitchen provides good value meals, which are cooked on the premises. The Governors took responsibility for the school meal service from April 2003. Children can bring their own drink to accompany their meal, but water is always available. During lunch break children are supervised by up to six midday supervisors.

Since September 2014, under the new Government directive, all Foundation Stage children and children in Key Stage 1 are entitled to Free School Meals.

Parent will still need to pay for children in Year 3 and Year 4 for their child’s meal. However even if your child is entitled to a free meal or not and you are in receipt of certain benefits please speak to the office or the kitchen. Additional funding can be arranged for some children which enables the school to provide more equal opportunities for all.
