Langford Village Academy

Performance

Continual informal assessment takes place in the classroom, informing planning and differentiated work for pupils. Formal assessment takes place at the end of Year 2 with pupils participating in Key Stage 1 SATs and at the end of Key Stage 2 with the Key Stage 2 SATs. Our results are usually in line with national results or above.

Children’s progress is reported to parents in an annual report in July. In addition, there are consultation evenings, in autumn and spring terms, when parents and staff can review progress and targets. There is also regular informal contact at the end of the school day and parents may make an appointment at any time to discuss issues.
