School Meals

The school kitchen provides good value meals, which are cooked on the premises. The Governors took responsibility for the school meal service from April 2003. Children can bring their own drink to accompany their meal, but water is always available. During lunch break children are supervised by up to six midday supervisors.

Since September 2014, under the new Government directive, all Foundation Stage children and children in Key Stage 1 are entitled to Free School Meals.

Parents of years 3, 4, 5 & 6 children will need to pay £2.50 for their child’s meal.

However, if you are in receipt of certain benefits please speak to the office or the kitchen because your child may be entitled to free school meals.
Additional funding can be arranged for some children which enables the school to provide more equal opportunities for all.
