Maths across the curriculum

Maths Across the Curriculum at Langford Village Academy

At Langford Village Academy, we believe that mathematics is not only taught in daily lessons but is also embedded across all areas of learning. From Reception to Year 6, pupils are encouraged to recognise how mathematical skills can be applied in different subjects and in real-life contexts.

We follow the White Rose Maths Scheme of Work, which provides clear progression and consistency, and we enrich this by ensuring pupils have regular opportunities to use and apply maths across the wider curriculum.
