Week ending 16/11/18
Since we have been back from half term Seahorse class have been very busy.
We have had lots of fun on Science day looking into seasonal changes and working collaboratively to finger paint what trees look like in the different seasons. We also enjoyed making rocket pictures and had lots of laughs at Miss Potter when she did a bottle rocket demonstration and ended up getting wet from the rocket. To end the day we were lucky to have Mrs Chambers visit and be involved in making balloon rockets and seeing whose balloon went the furthest.
This week we have celebrated 100 years of the ending of World War 1 by making poppies for the school display and to take into Remembrance assembly. We have learnt lots about Remembrance Sunday and why we wear poppies.
We have also started practising for our Christmas play and our thoroughly enjoying all the singing and dancing. Please use the attached sheets to practice the songs at home.
